Do you wanna get screwed over by management? Do you wanna be forced to pick your job or your family? Do you want to be abused by grown men with Tech-Jock egos, this is your place then. Real confessions here- NCS Management will willingly throw employees into jobs they have zero experience in and then will not assist in working on those tickets. The higher tier 4's wont even assist you at all in the escalation path, and management preaches so much on how to do things the right way, and yet they don't even do it right themselves. Something I saw early on is that they only care about money and billable time to customers and clients. all other things DO NOT MATTER AT ALL. NCS talks the talk with everything but they don't walk the walk with their Service department or their sales department. NCS has a huge turnover rate in my time at the company we had 4 people quit in 1 months time and has trended this way for months, this will continue to do so until the company plateaus out and stagnates. This company likes to use threats of termination or write ups and use this tactic to get employees to do immoral things like to get a warranty part back free or pay lesser for it also they bully you into false billable hours to get customers/clients/partners to end up paying more money for their invoices. Their work hard/play hard mentality is particularly dangerous. The owner of the company willingly buys alcohol for the company, will let you consume it during work hours, let you become extremely intoxicated and then will let you drive home. I've seen this happen so many times I cannot joke about this. The company 2020 model is focused on money and profits only, they dont care who they hurt, who they buy out, and who they lose in clients or employees. If you accept a position here use it to your advantage only, stand up for yourself against others here, and use it for job experience and a stepping stone and move on. I would not advise to work here more than 2 years. Advancement and promotions are next to impossible and they like to keep everyone where they are at in their tiers in order to the keep the NCS Good Old Boys club intact. Lastly, dont ask about benefits or PTO usage/accrual its all a joke. In the past time many clients and users have brought to my attention that they are seeking other MSP services and do not like the way NCS treats the employees and workload. For both branches in Topeka and Manhattan they are desperate to hire anyone and are urgent to hire others due to recently terminating a whole branch out for a false harassment claims. 3 employee were terminated without investigation or interviewing anyone. This company is looking to restaff quickly with workers unknowing of their company dirty deeds and wants to exploit them for as long as possible doing so. This company has no real HR department and barely can run inter-company HR needs let alone retaining/recruiting correctly and efficiently. THE HR Rep runs and does the dirty work of the management here and willingly does so with a smile. Please save your sanity and heart and think twice about the positions here.
