Builders FirstSource is a great company to work for. The learning and networking opportunities are vast. The company will set you up with the training and certifications you need to be successful. Internal hiring and promotion preferences make it more challenging for newcomers looking for management positions, but not impossible. The wide variety of roles inside the company make for a great environment to grow and learn.
Inconvénients
Salaries are not competitive with the market by a landslide. As a project manager for installed support, I am responsible for supervising installations in 40+ subdivisions within a six county area in North Carolina. My offered starting salary was $55,000 without any room for negotiation or signing bonus.
