Avantages

The best reason to work for bloom engineering is the pay you receive for the work you do. You can go work there without a college degree in the shop (steel workers union) and make more than kids coming out of college. The work load is easy as well.

Inconvénients

The downfall of the company is the minimal work throughout times of the year and the union "brothers" you work with. If you are the new guy, you start at the bottom of the seniority list and you are likely to be laid off every other year. But the good thing is most of the guys in the shop are 5-10 years away from retirement. But, these guys also are not union brothers, they will stab you in the back any chance they can. Plus, this contract is set up for the old guys to do no work and get paid the most. The young guys do all the work and get screwed.
