      Avantages

      Pay is decent, and people are generally nice. Benefits are also good overall.

      Inconvénients

      Overly focused on making the numbers each month at almost any cost. Constant turnover, either through regular layoffs, firings with little merit, or employees leaving (which I did). The parent company, Transdigm, is a boys club full of obnoxious people that care very little for the divisions and their employees. The division management has little power, and are at the mercy of the decisions made by Transdigm. Morale is very low. Not a fun place to work. You will never feel secure in your job.

      Avantages

      You’ve had the opportunity to work on real process improvement and project management tasks, allowing you to gain valuable hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering.

      Inconvénients

      The avionics industry is specialized, which can limit your opportunities if you want to transition to a different field. It may be challenging to find roles that leverage your experience outside of aerospace.

      The company is small enough that you can learn about many parts of it.

      It can be disorganized, when it comes to management.
