Avantages

I am a Developer and the pay was commensurate with experience and going industry rates. Flexibility to work from home or telecommute is never an issue. The team was more than helpful when I started and I felt they lead developers were open to new ideas and ways of doing things if it made sense for the company. That is important for personal and compony growth. Acadaca is a mid sized company, currently, so it still has a 'family' vibe to the work culture , where we all work together to get things done. A start up feel, but in an established company. I never have an issue looking for backup or assistance with an issue. The CEO and management are all approachable and genuinely care about any issues that you may have. I have learned a ton about all aspects of e-commerce world in my time here. The company is still growing which is great. Performance based raises. 401k contribution matching and nice Health Care package options round out this well rounded company. The Downtown NoHo, location is a bonus for me as well, full of cool restaurants and shops.

Inconvénients

If anything...Perhaps they are understaffed at times.

Avantages

Not a bad place as your first job. There is no office so everyone is remote (can be a con for some).

Inconvénients

It’s a small company, so benefits suck - be ready to pay a lot for health insurance if you want a decent plan. They are very strict with time tracking and get very micromanagy with it. Upper management can be secretive and sometimes you don’t find out about major changes (such as layoffs) until the very last minute. They are quick to fire people as soon as projects end or they lose a client, which doesn’t do any good for morale or employees’ mental health.
