Avantages
The people that succeed at Qualcomm are those who are extremely dedicated to their jobs. They are always available online or actively multitasking between different projects and customer issues. From the management down to the technicians, everyone is willing to help build the company and motivated to do job correctly. The best part of working here are the honest and dedicated people that you get to interact with daily.
Inconvénients
The rewards and recognition system does NOT accurately reflect the performance of a employee. Many times the performance review comments by peers and management are excellent but when you turn the page to look at your rating/bonus/promotion SURPRISE! You are given a little carrot attached to a stick, good job here is some left over change. When you go back to compare yourself to others in your job position and even co-workers that are more senior you feel that you have outperformed but none of it is recognized. My favorite quote was from a coworker "We (QCOM) have record profits and growth, but I'm losing money because my compensation growth is below inflation!"
