      Avantages

      Diverse workset with diverse set of customers. Flexibility to move from a small program activity to a large program. Also flexiblity to move between organizations and sites nation wide.

      Inconvénients

      Government contracting in the defense industry tends to have budgets up and down. Currently in a down swing and numerous layoffs have and will continue for the next year or so.

      Managers tend to ve very nice and understanding of the work-school balance

      Minimum of 15 hours can be hard on finals week

      Avantages

      High level of integrity throughout the company, open communications, and sincere interest in doing the right thing.

      Inconvénients

      Unfortunately, I need to come up with twenty words of cons. When in reality after 41+ years in IT, I have no cons for Lockheed Martin. They are not perfect, but highly acceptable.
