Avantages

benefits are great, 401k, health, bonus, holiday parties nice campus a "named company"

Inconvénients

company changes tack every 6 months, 4 years of layoffs and selling off divisions lots of meetings, lots of red tape, not a lot of coding most of development put into "how to sell / monetize" less time & resources targeted for features or new product. company has a repeated cycle of: acquiring an innovative company, struggled attempts to crosssell / upsell new product with its current product lines, struggled attempts to integrate the new product into the existing intuit systems (data centers, crm, etc), selling said acquisition at a fraction of the original purchase price (see Medfusion, Homestead, Demandforce, etc). For techinical (non-qa) talent its very hard to move to different divisions in the company

Avantages

Benefits are amazing, medical insurance, vision and dental. Company match on 401K and volunteer time off.

Inconvénients

They keep making decisions to outsource jobs to contract workers who don't share the same value in training or customer care. Oh they say they do but when you catch the listening to music so loud you can't hear the customer, or literally snoring on the line they can't do anything because of the way the contracts are set up. It is up to the contract company and the contract company just needs warm bodies. They did not even supply enough people doing our busiest season this year to co or the shifts that were required in the contract. So good luck with that. They will always eventually lay you off.
