      Avantages

      Working at Genentech gives you a great sense of accomplishment and great pride. Since I have never worked in this field before, I can not compare Genentechs benefits to other companies but I do feel that Genentech offers great benefits. They are always celebrating various accomplishments and/or milestones.

      Inconvénients

      The morale of B8 employees (manufacturing) is in the toilet. And year after year, it just keeps getting worse. If you take a stroll around the campus, you will see many happy people. There is a saying in B8.... If you see someone on campus that is not smiling or just looks unhappy, "they must be from B8".

      Avantages

      Great salary and team! The interview process was smooth and effective.

      Inconvénients

      To be determined, but so far many alignment meetings. Some folks have frustuations around the re-org and strategy changes.

      Avantages

      The work is meaningful and overall the company vision aligns with my goals

      Inconvénients

      QA management has become inept. None of the leadership (aside from maybe one or two) truly understand the nuances of our site and jobs. They refuse to pay you more due to "budget" reasons but won't provide much information, they claim to be transparent but will make decisions behind your back and not communicate them, even if they impact you and/or your job. Leadership doesn't listen to feedback and gets defensive if you even try to give any. It honestly has become a game of politics only in QA and that's not really building any real quality culture.
