Avantages

Overall, management does what they can to accommodate schedules and physical challenges. Clean place to work, secured building, newer equipment, paper-pen free.

Inconvénients

Problem is that the clients rule the roost and Sitel is hard pressed to mold them into an employee-friendly employer. Last client spoiled us with bonuses, group meetings, and Starting pay is decent, but with new and numerous clients, raises are seldom and bonuses are no where in sight at this time. Training could be more realistic, not all callers are happy. Communication at this time is minimal with a paper free environment and email that can be difficult to get to. Moral is low without bonuses and incentives that are realistic. Promotions are lateral, so they become meaningless as far as getting ahead, unless the only thing one wants is to get off the phones.

Avantages

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Inconvénients

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
