Avantages
I really enjoyed the international environment and the people. The team is very nice and welcoming, the clients are interesting, and the variety of projects makes the work dynamic and stimulating. I also appreciated the level of autonomy and trust I was given; I had the opportunity to build my department from scratch while always feeling supported by management. Work-life balance is very good, and salaries tend to be quite fair compared to the broader agency market, which helps compensate for the more limited corporate-style benefits. The yearly team seminar is also very well organized and a real highlight!
Inconvénients
As it is a small, independent agency, there are no corporate-style benefits such as Gymlib or RTT. Career progression is also more informal, with no very structured path, objective-setting process, or framework to track development, so you sometimes need to proactively communicate and advocate for your own achievements. There is no fixed remote-work policy either, although in practice I was never denied remote work when I needed it, and international employees can work remotely while visiting home if discussed in advance.
