    Avantages

    Strong team commitment, an incredible amount of support, ability to focus on your strongest attributes, the empowerment that comes from the values and culture to really help your clients get the most for their money, fantastic benefits, a never ending flow of new clients.

    Inconvénients

    It can get incredibly busy even with all the support.

    Avantages

    Great core values with the Company and the CEO is great!

    Inconvénients

    Over time, they started to hire unqualified people.
     It became a favoritism /nepotism game.
    Your ideas are welcomed, taken and management gets credit..you say , hey I had that idea..
    Management/agent are tied to their paycheck more than clients so quality of work could be better with a work/life balance.

    To get to towards the top, you must not have a difference of opinions that will surely, place you on the principals (management) list and they gather information to fire you.
    The new people are not trained properly.

    Avantages

    Much like the field of real estate, Redfin is just selling an image. It's certainly not a tech company, it's really just a real estate brokerage with a website. The company is fractured heavily internally, they haven't made profit, the revenue generating machines are agents and commissions, and they haven't innovated or changed the field of real estate as they initially set out to do. They created a website and collected user data, so that's pretty much all they have going for them. Unfortunately, the company is stagnant when it comes to creating a modern work environment, hiring smart people who know real estate, and staying ahead of competition. Much of it can be attributed to the lack of visionaries at the company who can move it forward. Their technology platforms are already appearing dated, and anyone with a brain has left or are leaving. Listening to the CEO and upper mgmt closely during investor meetings and company meetings, there is a sense of uncertainty behind their answers, and their poor business decisions might be catching up with them. Overall, this company will make some money off the website for the execs, and will probably end up a notch below Zillow.

    Inconvénients

    - The company is split and fractured in two: bizops and reops. Reops is the circus show, and bizops is the ticket counter.
    -Not many smart folks for a "tech" company. They are having a tough time attracting and retaining top talent.
    -Crossing over into dated technology and CRM tools that majority of the agents internally don't appear interested in using
    -The company hasn't found it's own voice. They emulate big tech firms like Amazon or FB to up the cool factor to appeal to us young folks, but really, they haven't made a penny yet.
    -Huge wastage of money at HQ and other branches.

    I would advise cleaning shop and starting over, but it's too late with the competition that's now staring you in the face.

    • Compromised ability to deliver quality customer service due to volume of business
    • Live/work balance skewed dramatically toward "work"
    • Accountable for unrealistic sales metrics that contradict company core values

    Avantages

    No need to market and prospect for clients, although the client quality has gone down with the reduced support of Support agents.
    Health insurance is nice, but also a reason that makes people afraid to leave.

    Inconvénients

    The company has changed since it went public. Work is 24/7 if you want to make a decent salary. Managers are mostly hired because they are friends of upper management and not on merit.

    Redfin has 3.4 stars on their reviews on Glassdoor. If an agent had 3.4 on their reviews at Redfin, they would be fired. Maybe it's time to do something.

    Be more selective about who you put in positions responsible for managing a team. Poor team management negatively affects the whole team and makes it very difficult to achieve success
