My experience at Payhawk over the past year has been nothing short of tumultuous and deeply unsatisfactory. The consistently toxic corporate culture, characterized by arbitrary changes in commission structures, a reduction in leave entitlements through contract modifications, and an abrupt ban on home remote, has created an environment of chronic disruption and instability. The CEO's decisions and communication style have been not only erratic but also detrimental to overall morale, fostering an undeniably toxic workplace ambiance. Despite a few learning opportunities, the pervasive lack of transparency, stability, and effective communication has contributed to an overwhelmingly negative and toxic experience during my time at Payhawk.

Thank you for your review. We acknowledge that many significant changes occurred during your time at Payhawk and that this can sometimes be disorienting, confusing, and frustrating. However, this is a consequence of our fast growth, and we continue to invest significant effort into navigating through our growth trajectories in the best possible way for our employees. We acknowledge that the contract modifications we made in a small number of locations were unsettling and frustrating. This was a necessary consequence of our growth into new territories and registration of new business entities. When migrating employees to new employment contracts, where possible, we applied equal benefits to all global employees, which we believe to be fair. In the case of paid annual leave, we provide all global employees with 30 days, which is more than the industry average. In 2023 we temporarily adjusted our work-from-home benefit in certain locations to ensure fairness and equal distribution in all locations. Currently, all employees have access to the following work flexibility benefits: Work From Home (WFH): Employees are allowed to work from home for four days per month. Exceptional WFH: Managers can grant additional work-from-home days in exceptional cases (e.g. family reasons, transport issues). Work from Anywhere (WFA): Employees have 12 days per year to work from anywhere in the world. Hawks and Travel: Employees can spend 1 week per year in another Payhawk office of their choice, with a budget paid by Payhawk of up to 1800 EUR. Except FIXED salary, nothing more .

Inconvénients

Bad company culture. Career path changing every 2 days , any evolution possible. Leadership very young and toxic. Lack of knowledge transmission and lack of neutrality.

Avantages

The salary… well, the base is attractive, but the bonuses are almost impossible to reach.

Inconvénients

- Extremely toxic top management that never questions itself. - You’re treated like a soldier, no right to give your opinion, it’s “my way or the highway.” - A fake atmosphere that quickly demotivates employees from their missions. - A saturated market, with a solution that is more “nice to have” than “must have.” - Very young top management, often narcissistic and toxic. I absolutely do not recommend this company.
