There wasn't a very comprehensive training/onboarding process for brand associates.

Treated awfully by lazy and arrogant peers. Most people mind losing our benefits, unexpected downtime, fear induced by restructuring, 12 hrs/night shift, young ignorant college grads getting promotions (or people with no degree but some small amount of experience relative to the job by a stretch of the imagination-- bc leads are underpaid and going up the ladder, I imagine their jobs suck too) and most of all, mandatory OT. ME, I would be cool with everything if I was treated with common courtesy instead of ignored, interrupted, condescended to, lied about, publicly humiliated, and even groped a few times. I only had one negative management experience at GM so far, and it's a few years passed and old news, things have been fine there since. But you can have perfect attendance, a clean disciplinary record, read SWM manuals for your unit ops and volunteer for OT every time and still be the shift leper. From what I've perceived as far as who else is treated similarly, what we have in common is being bi or otherwise unconventional in that realm- if that word gets out. People who aren't WASP also

The millwrights are great but It’s hard to get an electrician to help when there are electrical problems, if they can’t fix it from their laptop in the shop, they don’t want to come help, most of the younger ones are okay and a couple of the older ones. If you’re on a back shift and need a qualified person to reset something you might as well grab a pillow.

Work/life balance at the site level does not match the priorities set at the corporate level. Site management is hit or miss. Weak pay raises.

Don't follow many of the east coast holidays. Leadership is disorganized and impersonal. Not much focus on professional development of those in early career stage.
