    Avantages

    Joined as a fresher and you can't ask for a better start in your career

    * Smart and awesome people to work with
    * Freedom to experiment and Innovate
    * CTO is approachable, you can voice your concern and you will be heard. Moreover he is a superb techie and guide.
    * You can drive your projects independently
    * Loads and loads of learning

    Inconvénients

    You sometime feel that pay is a bit less but that covers up for the experience you will get here.

    Avantages

    Good company with continuous growth. Lot of opportunities with international expansion and scope to learn and grow

    Inconvénients

    Bad compensation with very less stocks. Founders have most of the stocks and rest of the stocks with core team members. Some of the core members are also leaving. To hire and retain good talent they need to give more stocks to employees.

    Think about your compensation. Culture is not a replacement for compensation. In startups everyone would want to make money for the risk, not only founders and core team. Dont be stingy

    Avantages

    Fun workplace, nice people , good work and great office location. One of the top brands in B2B space. (This also makes it easy to get job in other startups when you move it). All senior leaders have tech and product knowledge

    Inconvénients

    Need to build more loyalty. Fresher employees are not stable with what they want. Causes lots of attrition and break in momentum. Internal Brand building is bad.

    Speed up product development. Improve internal branding. COO CMO could involve more in tech since they have strong expertise in that and hands will help

    rude managers and colleagues
    top management doesnt care about this, so managers r seen yelling at their subordintes all the time. all they care about is delivering. doesn't matter how.
    no work life balance, despite what the COO tells

    Only CTO cum founder is approachable other 2 rarely involve with employ day to day activities

    Avantages

    Learning opportunities are lot.If you are good you can grow fast in terms of responsibilities.Relaxed working environment. You can try new things.

    Inconvénients

    Lot of young inexperienced lazy team mates. Theydon't work and spread negativity by complaining all the time. If you ask them why they are not working they will talk like they are in prison. Nobody works after 6 and before 10. But these guys will make like they are being asked to work throughout the day. There are people who are one month experience after college and gives advice on running company and needing more salary.
    Also we need to develop products faster.

    Nothing much to say here

    Inconvénients

    In startups everyone will get things done.Here it is the opposite. People will work on not to get things done and provide reasons for it. More people are brought in and new teams created to ensure nothing gets done.There are people in the company who nobody knows why they are there and what they do except stop work and write docs. To get something done it is like a government office. I have to first find who all i need to get approval and then try to get approval. Then one of them will say I'm not responsible for this you need to talk to to another person. It is a joke because it does not even have 100 people. I have to start again from the beginning It is better to not start anything new or useful at all

    Avantages

    Some genuinely nice and intelligent senior people
    Salary is market standard though they are small in size
    Better than all competitors product and name wise
    Good engineers

    Inconvénients

    1) Uninspiring leadership
     Recently had a all hands which was three and half hours long which did not inspire
    2) Disconnected teams
    Every team thinks they are doing great and only have advise for other teams
    3) Slow moving
    They have so much processes for even small things. Instead of simplifying they keep adding more and more process. This come from top. The number of meetings to decide a simple thing is unbelievable. Even large companies don't have so many meetings
    4) People are frustrated with processes and people only there for the sake of process
    5) No coordination among management and big rumours of churn

    1) Don't solve problems that are not even there
    2) Promote internal folks
    3) Selling to large old enterprises does not mean we need to behave like large old enterprises
    4) Learn public speaking
    5) Learn some humility. Dont push fake ideals

    Avantages

    1. They pay on time.
    2. Freemium food (deducts food coupon from your salary).
    3. Good location in Bangalore.

    Inconvénients

    1. Discrimination - biased people; they prefer to work with folks from their community. You will feel left out most of the time.

    2. Too much attitude and arrogance. They think they know a lot of stuff but actually are empty vessels.

    3. Exploitation - the seniors (some of them) make you do their work while they just work-from-home (which is no work at all).

    4. ZERO knowledge transition on joining. The theory of "figure it out" doesn't apply to all.

    5. Tries to behave like an enterprise but is still JUST a startup.

    6. The product SUCKS! It has a terrible UI, too many downtimes and the techies work on maintaining this sinking ship rather than developing new products.

    7. Too much planning, very less execution.

    8. Time waste on work that's not going to benefit the team or the company.

    9. IMPOSSIBLE expectations. They want you to be "ON" 24*7.

    10. Below-the-par salary.

    11. Some managers' sole work is "mailing" and doing nothing themselves. Again, being a boss rather than a leader (wonder if they even know the difference)

    12. SURPRISINGLY bad release. They'll harass you like hell.

    13. Being frugal is good but Exotel has taken it to the next level. This is level "CHINDI". Too much pressure on the teams as there's not enough bandwidth. They realise that and yet they don't hire enough. One of the C-level executives once proudly told that we should be a small team generating huge revenue. Irony is they don't pay for that.
