A Demanding but Valuable Apprenticeship Experience
Avantages
Coming from a non-technical background, I’ve had the opportunity to develop strong technical knowledge while also being exposed to a wide range of topics beyond my initial scope — including sales, business development, legal clauses, and overall strategic processes. The learning curve has been steep, but the environment has allowed for real professional growth. The international context is another major advantage. Working with teams across different countries and cultures has significantly improved my adaptability and cross-cultural communication. Traveling as part of an apprenticeship is rare, and it has added unique value to the experience. Management has consistently shown appreciation for the efforts made and has remained supportive throughout, even during challenging periods. The apprenticeship also offers a salary that is well above market standards, which fairly reflects the responsibilities given.
Inconvénients
A lot tends to be handled at the last minute, which often results in working under pressure with tight deadlines. While this can be part of the reality in fast-paced environments, it does affect planning and efficiency. The workload can occasionally feel intense, and expectations are high. That said, the pressure is never exerted in a harmful way and it reflects the level of autonomy and trust placed in apprentices.
