    This isn't your average big corporate company where you're just a number. Your work/input gets noticed. 8x8 is growing at a very fast pace with 20% year over year growth and counting!     Inconvénients

    With more growth, comes more work. There will be times that work will pile on but it's up to management to help divide the work throughout the team or add headcount when necessary.

    I love the message that are shared monthly/quarterly on all the 8x8 news/updates. But I feel like there has to be more company events. Like an 8x8 picnic or carnival. Something to get the employees to feel more excited about 8x8.

    Avantages

    The Chicago Sales Rally was a perfect example of how tight knit a company this is. The teams all support each other, and talent does not go unnoticed. Vik, the CEO, is a great speaker who makes all of his employees feel valued and appreciated for their hard work.

    Inconvénients

    I have experienced no negatives on my 8x8 journey.

    Avantages

    8x8 is an awesome company to work for. For starters, talent acquisition kept me up to date during the interview process, and was super friendly during on-boarding. The job itself has lots of autonomy, flexibility, and a super positive work culture. Over all, I feel adequately compensated for my level of experience/education, and supported by management.

    Inconvénients

    I have not been here long enough to truly do this area justice; however, some of my co-workers have explained to me that there is frequent and abrupt change at 8x8. Some people find the latter a challenge.

    Avantages

    8x8 is a great company with a lot of momentum. HR has done a good job increasing benefits, compensation and perks for all employees. One of the most recent initiatives granted all 1.5K employee's stock. It really keeps us intrinsically motivated to continue to do our job knowing that every one has a little piece of the company. Really excited to see where 8x8 will be in my next 5 years!

      Inconvénients

      Rapid progress and expansion exposes weaknesses in process and discipline. True everywhere - true here. It's a bumpy ride - things that should be easy can be hard - things that should just work usually don't. But summon your inner MacGyver and a little patience and you'll have a great time.

      Love the open and candid leadership. The on-boarding (Fast Start) program is exceptionally good value. We have a great product and a great opportunity but sometimes the clarity and simplicity of our offering is lost in a bifurcated presentation.
