There are options to enroll in medical, dental, vision insurance, but benefits are inconsistent. I had trouble getting doctor claims paid properly or having my prescription filled without issues because this company enrolled me into a plan with wrong DOB. Then I got covid while on the job. When I attempted to fix the situation with HR/benefits department, my concerns were dismissed and they told me I falsified my personal information! Wow. Never experienced anything like this in any of my previous jobs. 401k exists and a lot of people erroneously think there is a match, but after reading the summary plan description and discussing the same with the representative from Principal Financial... there is none. The fees are very high: 4% annual just to maintain your account. Not worth it for people who are bringing in large sums of money to this plan. Looking to get employed at another company immediately so I can move my funds out of this plan very soon. There are little to no programs available for employee wellness. I used to work for a company that would give gym perks and reward points for adopting healthy habits. There is no such perk here. They do not have mental health resources readily available to employees who are experiencing a crisis moment. I've noticed a lot of younger pharmacists take out their frustrations on coworkers and management do nothing about it. That's why I think mental health or suicide hotline postings are crucial. It's apparent that local leadership doesn't understand workplace violence issues and how to identify dangerous conditions, inappropriate behavior at work.
