My availability for this internship was pretty generous considering I am a full time student, which EVERY applicant is also. Internships are meant for full time students, so obviously the schedule will have to accommodate to that. The recruiter was not impressed with my availability when we first spoke on the phone (not to mention, he called me with no warning and started giving me an interview on the spot? super unprofessional), but he was still very abrasive about getting me to come in for an in person interview, giving me no time to even consider my schedule and told me only Thursdays work for him . When I attended the interview the very next day, he basically told me once again that my availability does not work for this internship. Great, he literally knew this when we talked on the phone, now he just completely wasted my time inviting me in for an in person interview. He probably knew I had to skip a class or work for this and didn't feel bad. Also, he rudely answered his phone and typed an email during my 10 minutes in his office. The recruiter then walked me to the door and was so rude he did not even say bye, he just started talking to someone else. If he needs someone with full time availability, than maybe he should hire an actual employee and not depend on an intern that is still in school full-time. Super ignorant man, definitely thought he was some big deal at this company and he definitely thought of me some idiot college student and not as a professional. Very disappointed with Wells Fargo Center and I am looking forward to interning with a more professional company next semester.
