Position is based out of Gibsons, but will also provide some virtual support to our New Westminster location.
Reporting to the Director of Quality and Professional Development, the Educator prepares regulated and unregulated staff for their roles as caregivers or regulated nurses in a variety of care settings. The Educator provides leadership in the clinical practice setting, while supporting staff in coaching and skills updates. The Educator assists in the development, execution, and revision of teaching materials in alignment with Provincial legislation and the Standards. The education being provided ensures each staff members can adapt to the changing environment of the healthcare industry and continue to learn as updates and legislation evolve. The Educator holds an important role in the support of staff to achieve competent, safe, and ethical care for their residents/clients.
