Avantages

Remote work, great team mates.

Inconvénients

Recent pay cuts. No paid time off. No vacation pay. Commission paid job but you clock in and out. Your hours are paid out of your commission at a minimum wage rate. Your sick time and vacations cost you money to find coverage. Company takes 70% of their monthly fees to clients , You get 30%. Forced to take on larger workloads to not feel the pay the pay cuts. On paper you make minimum wage. Big brother is always watching you. Can’t speak up or you’re toxic and naught as well fear for your job. People are leaving left and right due to pay cuts. They log their working hours but since the commissions are low they somehow owe the company money.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Glassdoor. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the ability to work remotely and the camaraderie on your team. We appreciate your thoughts on compensation. Our success consultants are guaranteed minimum wage, yet can make much on commission, by service. Many report that they make more than they did when they worked in the dental office. It is disappointing to hear that you feel that you cannot share your opinions and ideas in a positive manner. And we are sorry to hear of your frustration. We always strive to support our employees and maintain our focus on our core values, especially seeking to understand. Many of your comments are inaccurate, and we welcome the opportunity to clear up misunderstandings and for direct feedback. Please email peopleservices@eassist.me.

Avantages

Ability to work from home.

Inconvénients

You are essentially cheap labor for the office. Unfortunately, proven standard operating procedures are often cast aside in the name of keeping the client happy. The result is a heavier workload, the same deadlines, and no increase in pay. Commissions are typically split 50/50 between at least two people. More often than not, one person doesn't pull their weight, leaving the other to pick up the slack if they care about doing quality work. Vacation time is another challenge. Unless you're willing to pay someone to cover your responsibilities out of your own pocket—and hope they actually complete the required tasks—taking time off can become more stressful than it's worth.
