      Avantages

      Good community atmosphere but this is Virginia Tech as a whole and it makes sense it would carry over into the work environment.

      Inconvénients

      Too much bureaucracy, obviously too much funding goes to staffing redundant positions that could better be served for programming.

      Avantages

      The experience was great. The PI was amazing and kind and I learned a lot, definitely would do it again. It yielded great results for me such as publication. I recommend for medical school or graduate school.

      Inconvénients

      Difficult to justify if you don’t plan to have a research career, graduate or professional school because the pay is lower than other positions available in Blacksburg.
