Inconvénients
Coming to work can be terrible when you are .9. They pick who they want to break and it is usually new faces. Giving the easier jobs to certain techs while leaving others packing up truck to truck with the worst jobs imaginable. Imagine a company giving the same amount of time to a technician for a 14 box install as another technician with a 1 box install with far less work to do. Imagine getting loaded with 10 box installs everyday and told to move all your tools from truck to truck while others in the company get to use the same truck everyday and trash thier truck leaving all the work of organizing/cleaning to someone who borrows thier truck. Thats everyday life at verizon for some and its totally wrong. Intimidation tactics are the usual and the leadership doesn't care as long as thier numbers look good. The nature of the job is unpredictable and most days can be bad if you aren't picking easy jobs to take on. Numbering system is not accurate and hours per dispatch is not accurate with the amount of work given per tech. If you take extra steps to make sure your customer is taken care of you get slammed by management for hpd so it leaves techs rushing just to make numbers rather than make customers want to stay. If you have a good career and are offered better money think about this before leaving what you have. A peace of mind is important and its not just about money if you are miserable while making the money.
