Avantages
The time-off policy was great, the people were friendly and well-mannered. We also had Bagel Tuesdays and Fruit Thursdays. Before being bought out by J2 Global, VIPRE was a fun company with great atmosphere. After the buy-out, however, things went downhill.
Inconvénients
Although the time-off policy was great, it was often taken advantage of and this left employees to work short-staffed quite often. Communication was horrible between departments. Sometimes we would be waiting on a response to a specific issue for days to weeks - even months! There were discrepancies with commission checks, and we were never provided with the details of what those discrepancies were so it felt very shady. They basically deposited our check, reversed the deposit, made another deposit, and then said we owed them money. Coincidentally, this occurred in the month that we were not provided commission sheets to break down our earnings. Overall, there was little to no opportunity for growth within the company, and each employee was expected to do the work of multiple people. Supervisors continued to promise relief but new hires were not brought in. I would not recommend working here.
