      Avantages

      I worked at Unity as an executive leader and I'm undoubtedly biased. I am a big fan of Unity. So many good things about Unity: customer focused, super smart people across the company/planet, important and ambitious mission, leaders in RT3D technology and extremely talented executive team guiding the company forward.

      Inconvénients

      There is a compelling vision and strategy, many ways to add value, and many compelling things to work on which makes the work so exciting it can be hard to focus and find work/life balance simply because you find yourself highly engaged. If you are an entrepreneur and self-motivated person the sky is the limit what you can achieve, if you like fences and gates you may be frustrated sometimes.

      Avantages

      -Flexible WFH environment -Decent work life balance and good benefits for the US based employees

      Inconvénients

      -CEO and CFO insist on being based in New York, when the Company is based in SF. Earnings calls are at 5:30am because screw you West Coast. -CFO will stop at nothing until all the G&A, Accounting, Tax, and, Finance team members are located in Bangalore in an effort to cut costs. Offshoring is massive here and will only continue to expand. -Constant anxiety about layoffs. Sometimes they announce mass layoffs, but more often do it in smaller waves so as to not rattle the cage. -Top heavy org structure. There's probably as many or more SVP, VPs, Sr. Dir level folks as there are individual contributors/leads.
