Avantages

Nice selection and variety of products, Co-workers, good benefits, pretty easy sell, great training program (although they never teach you how to actually sell the product)

Inconvénients

This job and company has the potential to be great. Whether or not you have a good or bad experience will solely come down to the location you work at, particularly the management. At my location you have a GM who is unaware of anything going on and not protecting his employees. You have a Sales Manager who treats his employees like crap, lies to customers and other people in the office, and drops the ball on turning in folders in a timely manner. On top of all of that you have a service department that is difficult to work with and messes up every account you sell. Also the amount of micromanagement that occurs here is the most I have ever seen. I feel like they care more about me hitting numbers than actually selling accounts

Thank you for the feedback. It always saddens us whenever any UniFirst Team Partner feels that their experience in our organization is a negative one. Perhaps you can utilize our Open Door Policy and have a conversation with your Regional Sales Management about your concerns.

Avantages

Upper management genuinely cares about their team, and the hiring process is simple and straightforward. Base pay and the monthly stipend are both fair, and I appreciate the company's structure — questions get answered quickly, and you have dedicated team member support. I also like that the role is self-managing, with CDR handling pricing and deal structuring so you can focus on your own performance. Overall, this company really takes care of its employees.

Inconvénients

The pay structure for this role is a bit unique — after a sale closes, the CDR earns commission for the first few months, and then commission transitions over to the drive team. It's certainly not a deal-breaker, just an observation, and I'm not knocking the company for it. All in all, I had a wonderful experience at UniFirst.
