      UCR is a diverse community, mostly consisting of kind, caring, gentle people. From what I've experienced the culture is gentle in the classroom or in any of the support centers.

      Inconvénients

      Continuous significant changes disrupts the momentum gained by previously established structures, policies, and systems.

      Commuter school so traffic and parking can be terrible. Select your PI wisely, and ensure healthy work life balance.
