Avantages
At Textron Systems, I had the pleasure of collaborating with several exceptional colleagues who were not only incredibly kind but also highly skilled professionals. Additionally, the company offered a bi-weekly schedule with every other Friday off, although this entailed longer nine-hour workdays from Monday through Thursday. This arrangement provided a welcomed balance between work and personal time, allowing for extended periods of rest and rejuvenation.
Inconvénients
In my experience at Textron Systems, I found the feedback from management to be primarily critical rather than constructive, which made it challenging to gauge my performance. Unfortunately, the layoff process lacked transparency and came as a surprise, as evidenced by my own experience and that of a colleague with nearly two decades of tenure. Additionally, there appeared to be a lack of diversity within the workplace. The atmosphere often felt unwelcoming, leading to feelings of anxiety and exclusion, as expressing opinions seemed daunting amidst a culture that didn't foster open communication or collaboration. Overall, the environment did not promote a sense of teamwork.
