Avantages

Lots of opportunities for growth, interesting products, and many (field based) locations to choose from.

Inconvénients

Company mindset has changed since AAI was purchased by Textron. What was once a very family oriented climate has shifted to a "profits over people" environment, and driving away lots of great talent. AAI has now become a spring board for graduates and veterans to get into the UAV industry, but with the large morale problems and low pay few people choose to stay with the company for any longer than required. Although there is room for growth within the AAI, there are few opportunities to grow within Textron. Textron is a very diversified corporation, with companies such as Bell Helicopter, Kautex, Greenlee, Overwatch, etc Tools there is little to no room to transition skills and experience.
