Avantages
PTO/Holiday program was pretty good, best I’d had to that point. Nice welcome package received before first day. Company flew me to their HQ for my first week to meet colleagues and get assimilated. Office to myself was a pro and a con…considering.
Inconvénients
Office to myself was nice at first, but it became lonely. Culture…their wasn’t any. Too much to do, too little time. I did not have the proper support to effectively do my job (No project engineers) and manager was even busier than I was, so not much that could be done. Permit process was a nightmare. Manager was in a horrible position of working non-stop 12hr days and he would probably never caught up. Truly felt bad for him. I started to feel anxiety about going to work (Denver office) and started losing sleep. It became obvious for me that the end was near.
