Avantages
The owners really put their frontline fist. They live up to the core values they preach. TaskUs has changed the traditional toxic BPO culture. The pay is fair and the workload for teammates is manageable.
Inconvénients
The senior leaders are from traditional BPOs who have brought the toxicity inside TaskUs. Leaders shout at employees publicly, foster a culture of fear, and call their employees entitled behind their back for being promoted a a young age. Majority of the leaders, in CHR especially, promote performance punishment. When a leader is doing well, they overload that leaders task list until they give up from exhaustion. Leaves are not seen as rights but as rewards that you earn. 14-hour shifts every day does not faze the leaders which tells you they couldn't care less about you. They force you to attend meetings outside your shift because nobody knows the ins and outs of the campaign apart from you. When we get commendations from the client, our director sarcastically recognizes us during our mandatory "happiest hour" sessions. When you quit, they tell you that you are ungrateful that you have a job during the pandemic. I am just extremely disappointed in the way things turned out and I am glad I left.
