In my market when tough times hit they were very though. I left a sinking ship. Decreased staff benefits. Very poor communication internally. More and more tasks were implemented without any increase in pay. Feedback was not acted upon although asked for frequently. Lost my motivation completely after new managers came in and could not manage to find it again. Little or next to no room for new positions in the company. Bear in mind that I worked in a small market not nearly as big as the UK market.
