Avantages

- Decent pay, decent benefits (health, dental, 401k, etc). - Large potential for growth, especially if you are looking for a technician job. They focus strongly on providing training. - A very driven workforce. Many of the project managers are solid, down-to-earth people.

Inconvénients

- Work/life balance is mixed. I was required more than once to attend events outside work hours without pay. - Fairly high employee turnover. They've lost almost half their workforce since the beginning of 2019 and have been hiring like crazy to compensate. - They will expect a lot of you, even if you're a new employee. - The CEO has an abrasive personality. He claims that he is seeking to sort out conflict through sensible discussion, but often times you'll find that he's simply attacking your character. - At the time of writing, the company culture feels stressed. A lot of projects are on backlog and as a result there's a big push for things to get finished. This has created a lot of unspoken tension and is fostering an atmosphere of discontent.

Avantages

Collaborative environment that values educating team members to best serve client's needs. Huge growth potential, with an added bonus of being insulated from recessions since we all need HVAC controls! Appreciate the consistency of work and security it brings. The employer contributions on medical insurance are higher than anywhere I have seen!

Inconvénients

The management team is facilitating lots of changes in policy and procedure to set up scaling, This has led to some chaotic days when comparing to the set way of doing things.

Avantages

None. You're just going to end up stressed, frustrated, and miserable with nothing to show for your effort.

Inconvénients

Management is toxic and incredibly hostile towards employees. They keep making unreasonable demands, and whenever their expectations aren't met, they yell at employees and insult them. They have no empathy; all they care about is themselves and money.
