Avantages
Good work-life balance. Location is really good for a manufactuing company. Benefits covers all the basic stuffs. There is plenty to learn.
Inconvénients
Salary is below average especially among similar industry, Upper management is biased, Very hard to climb up the ladder as they dont fire people so you will only be promoted when the boomers above you retire/quit on their own accord. This brings out another problem - since they dont fire people, there is alot of incapable workers there which you will have to work with. Communication is a big issue too since the company likes to hire China and Thai workers that can't speak/understand basic english. The budget is very erratic too, there is plenty of overtime cancellations and cost reduction due to poor planning in the start, Equipments here are mostly very old too, all > 20 years old, so there are plenty of issues to solve.
