I had to wear too many hats...cashier, popcorn maker & telephone operator simultaneously. Often the store was understaffed, leading to the few present having a huge workload and customer service suffering. It was not uncommon to have a long line of customers, a person on hold on the phone and trying to maintain the popcorn machine all at once.
