Avantages
The company was very close to home, and had a large parking lot to accommodate all employees. There was almost never a shortage of work, and overtime was a possibility during my time there. The HR department was amazing, and would help with just about anything that you reached out for help with. The modern means of clocking in, clocking out, requesting time off work, etc were up to par with leading standards in the industry. Overall, the work was what you signed up for, and very little changed on a day to day basis.
Inconvénients
For those that had to work early bird shifts I can see where that could have been hard on the body for those that had to travel. Oftentimes, days were long, and pay could have been increased due the the amount of product that was pushed on a daily basis. The food that was served in the cafeteria could have had a little more variety due to the fact that you were not allowed to bring in your own lunch into the establishment if you were a factory worker. If you are not someone that likes the cold, this could be a con for you since it could get cold inside very quickly and you needed to bundle up.
