Sometimes it seems that the people who work the hardest get the least while other nonproductive people advance quicker in the organization. The pay isn't competitive compared to other organizations in this area. It also seems that there are a lot of ideas but it takes so long for something to be implemented. There needs to be a culture change because a lot of people have been in their positions for a very long time but aren't effective. We operate in silos so no one communicates across divisions. There are some people in the organization who look out for themselves instead of what's best for the organization so there are bad decisions made. Also the recruitment process is very lengthy (especially for internal applicants) so we lose out on great prospects because the turnaround time is so long.
