Avantages
Working in a cool scene in various locations in the country. If you're in college at ASU they have some great bars to work at in the area. Fun job where you're still in the party scene but instead of spending money, you're paid to be there.
Inconvénients
There are some things that come with working in the bar industry that people just will not like or will never understand. Cleaning parties, where management makes you clean the bar but you don't get paid because they call it a party. Double shifts on busy event days, which for me was a good thing, but those not used to long hours always complained or had trouble making it through. Also, knowing who is who and how they should be treated. Dealing with people can be tough at times. Add alcohol and a party to the mix and it can get difficult.
