Avantages
Easy work, kind of mindless at times, if your competent, you can coast no problem. Hard to get fired from. Ricoh gives supervisors daily tasks that they have to accomplish by the end of the month on their website, the company also wants reports every month called MORs which go over how many copies, scans, extra add ins, etc you accomplished. If you have a secondary degree of any kind I would use this as a stop gap between unemployment and finding a career.
Inconvénients
There's a joke of a pay increase every year, you're more than likely never going to be promoted, you have to give them 30 days notice to take any personal time, never heard of that before. They pretty much rather you just call out sick the day of than plan a personal day a week in advance. Also at the end of the day you're making copies, scanning documents, and distributing mail, not really a job you would brag about to friends or family
