Avantages
The majority of the people in the smaller sub-teams and those around the office are lovely despite the despicable culture created by the upper management team. The people sitting around you are what made this job tolerable.
Inconvénients
I cannot begin to explain the vile culture Rayware has deemed to be an acceptable working condition for their staff. The upper management team need to take a long look at themselves and take some responsibility for the incredibly high turnover of wonderful and talented staff. You belittle and treat people as if they are disposable, and then have the gall to be shocked when notices are handed in. If you hand in your notice at a time they don't seem acceptable, expect to have petty emails sent around about you and be given the cold shoulder as if you're a traitor - absolutely pathetic behaviour. The level of micromanaging is something I've never witnessed. Expect to never to be to make a final decision unless it goes through 6 other people, who all have contradicting opinions, but somehow you're expected to read everyone's mind. If you do try and offer some guidance or a suggestion, expect to be belittled or have your ideas torn to shreds as these people have been there since day dot and do not like to be told their way of thinking may be dated or wrong. Having work 'marked' and circled with '????' as if you're a child in school and you've got the question wrong. Is this really the way Rayware thinks it should communicate in 2024?? Worst company I've ever had this misfortune to work for - avoid like the plague.
