Now when I apply to jobs and they ask me "Describe a time when you had a conflict with a coworker" I have a lot of content.

WASHINGTON- I have been debating whether or not to write a review for this company for a while now, but have decided that I still have nightmares about working at this place and it has ruined my relationship to my work. So where do I begin? - If the directors/managers/higher-ups are nasty to their own clients, just imagine how they treat their own workers. My jaw would be to the floor listening to some of these people and the way they just disregarded their clients comments and concerns. - None of the higher ups have any clue to how run an organized company. Maybe that's because it's growing too fast, but if they are scramming to hire new employees and build the company, why not just treat the ones you already have with some decency? They make it too easy to leave this company. There are no benefits to sticking around other than an okay salary. - Everyone is just so stressed out and they take it out on the younger professionals when the real issues come from the top. The interns and associates would be the scape goat for people who just didn't know how to run their teams properly. The teams were so poorly organize that when something needed to be done it was because it was already supposed to be delivered, the teams just didn't have the manpower to complete something early. - On every team I worked on, I had a different supervisor- each who thought that their project was more important than the others. When I would explain that other teams needed me for an important deadline, another supervisor would tell me that the other team's job wasn't that important and I needed to work on something more important for them. Essentially, they would fight each other to get lower level employees to do their work first. -There was no training. You started working and just completely drown in work without any introduction. They sorta were prideful in this by saying "We just want you to just dive in! It's the best way to learn." It's not- most companies do have training for new employees, it's a lot more than creating a new email account. - Never formed any connections at this place. The only time people would make small talk was during their required company meeting each week but it was mostly between a small group of higher-ups. I tried small talk during internal meetings and felt like they just didn't have time for that. Everyone just was too busy to get to know each other and that's really sad. - My supervisors would make me cry. Theyh ad no idea how to be a good boss. No. Idea. It was a problem really early on and I felt like I had no one to talk to about it. Rational360 has no Human Resources Department (at least when I was working there). There was no unbiased person I could go to in the office to discuss my issues with the way I was being talked down to. On my exit interview with one of the higher-ups, I felt like I was almost encouraged NOT to give any feedback. I don't know how you can live with yourself and treat your employees like that. I just can't even explain it. They seemed so misraeble and just wanted to take it out on someone who still had time to get out. IN CONCLUSION- A company doesn't have to function this way- and it's taking me a long to rewire my idea of a healthy worklife. This place damaged me more than it helped and I'm so glad Glassdoor exists so companies can't keep getting away with their problems.

They treat you like actual staff members instead of interns and you do actual work. You can guide how your internship goes and ask to be assigned to certain things or pick up certain items.

Inconvénients

Not much training or formal structure (good and bad), if you get a good team and manager you're good, if you get a bad team you're cooked.

If you want to become a better version of your professional self come here. If you want to work with friends, manage consistent tasks and leave with energy for happy hour maybe not. Everyone learns something. Company structure has interns and managing directors and senior associates providing value and learning opportunities equally. Moving into new office soon! Literally no space right now lol because of all the growth You constantly get to do new things and take responsibility for those things. Which is great for building careers and skill sets. Just a tough pace to keep up with. I keep a 9-6, but know others who work out of those hours. I just have a really busy 9-6.

This is the toughest place I’ve ever worked lol. Not an easy job… they’re growing incredibly fast and everyone is at the top of their game so it can feel hard to keep up. But I’ve never learned more so that’s something 😮‍💨 AND EVERYONE STILL REQUIRES QUALITY AT A HIGH SPEED Inconsistent expectations across all levels. Lotsa new people, maybe not a con, it just feels like everyone is training together at times. Also because DC is changing so rapidly. Weird that there isn’t an HR team. Most people don’t have a direct reporting chain or a singular manager to go to. They have many! I think it’s a con but can be either.
