Avantages

Everything was great within the organization and we were looking to build on some great initiatives. I believe in our CEO and the products , and it's good vibes for the most part.

Inconvénients

They added leadership from a failing brand (former Pacsun) and it's had a negative impact on our team members. Along with the experience at a failing brand, it seems that there is also a lot of negative energy there and a rough standard for culture. They have an elitist mind set, are unapproachable, and they don't seem to care about collaborating but rather call out everyone's shortcomings while being resistant to hearing their own. I just want my team to thrive in an environment built on positivity and enthusiasm, which we had, but now it's facing another direction. I hope leadership can see through these new additions, and the negative impact they're bringing in from their previous organizations.

Avantages

Some of the other "worker bees" are cool and fun to be around on a personal level, though most don't stick around for more than a year.

Inconvénients

You will be looked down upon and treated like a child no matter your experience, ethic, or loyalty. Cute lion names for every dept., brand direction, and just about everything else will remind you of grade school. Micro-managed at every level, and complete lack of empowering anyone to make any decisions. Trust in employees is non-existent to the point of monitoring everything and every conversation. Peer reviews are fabricated and/or swayed by upper management (often asking others to re-do their honest/heartfelt reviews to help cater to overall agendas). Completely unrealistic expectations and your job description will change just about monthly based on irrational ideas, or having to pick up slack from the revolving door for employees. Interns are also taken advantage of under the guise of getting a full-time job, while taking on projects that should be assigned to mid-level career employees. Too many meetings talking about projects that will still be re-defined by management as long as the deadline looms. The benefits package is dismal, 1 week of vacation/3 sick days, and expensive bottom of the barrel insurance.
