My direct report manager is amazing and does a fantastic job for me. My team has a mixed bag of talent and skills, which is honestly fantastic, as we have a broad spectrum of people to bounce off of. Very relaxed PTO policy and overall a good vibe.

Government customers are anywhere between a high tier engineer and someone who can barely use a Linux terminal. Dealing with SCIFs and other airgapped environments is exhausting. Clown CEO was removed and replaced with someone who also does not feel ready for the role. The company direction seems somewhat aimless and destined for failure due to the nature of government work and contracts.
