Avantages
Food, work life balance, good place to start
Inconvénients
Not worth to stay after a year or two. Learning growth reduces. Work life all depends on your manager. For some it may seem good and others bad. To sum it up, they are unfair. Good people have left and are still leaving. No roadmap. Creativity and innovations are not valued. Employees are also taking manager responsibility. When there is a deadline, whole day repeatedly meeting is set up and have to update the status (which should be managers role). So we end up with no time to make progress and thus blames us for not working. No good hike. No matter your work excellency is too high, you will get fixed hike which is less. Managers play dirty games and team people are getting affected by it. Contractors are more valued than permanent employees by managers. The technologies and design challenges are reducing. No learning growth. The cons can go on and on. It never ends. If you imagine what all cons are available, it's present in Rambus. Advice to opportunists: If you're a fresher, join and leave the place in a year or 2 If you are experienced, never join. If you are already there, leave immediately and save yourselves from layoff or management tyranny. Better to join service based companies(if money is not a huge factor)
