Avantages
The new office was nice, and the leadership team truly seemed supportive and appreciative of the interns. We had lunch and weekly meetings with the president and other senior leaders, which made it clear they cared about our growth. There was also plenty of workplace training, including support that helped me earn my CargoWise certification.
Inconvénients
While I had interesting, useful, and hands-on projects to do sometimes, there would be days, sometimes multiple in a row where I had little work to do, and it would be very boring busywork.
Also, pay for interns was only $17 an hour and we only came in 20 hours a week.
