      Avantages

      Accretive Health rewards those who perform exceptionally well. The firm prides itself on the entrepreneurial spirit of the employees. The people are exceptional, always willing to help each other and treat coworkers with the utmost respect. I believe in the firm leadership and the direction they are leading us.

      Inconvénients

      The firm is having difficulty sustaining its growth. There are communication breakdowns that are impeding progress. In certain positions, the travel demands are substantial.

      No promotions, and the yearly pay increase is basically the inflation rate

      Avantages

      The voluntary separation offer was good.

      Inconvénients

      I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
