      Old fashion values of caring, small bonus incentives, not found in larger companies.

      Inconvénients

      Upper management does not listen to the workers in the trenches, often becoming top heavy. Rather listen to ideas from new hires, when systems break, people take over rather fix the system, thus overworking the people.

      Avantages

      They use modern programming languages (PHP, Perl, XQuery), Mark Logic Server, and are always open to exploring new technologies to make their products better. Cutting edge software development for some products. Good management. Small company that's been around forever and that's going to be around for a very long time. Programming peers with a great deal of experience and expertise.

      Inconvénients

      They have a monopoly on ISBNs and therefore they don't need to work as hard at acquiring and retaining customers. This results in services that are not quite up-to-date or current with the times.
