Avantages

Remote Offered Quick Interview process

Inconvénients

Poor relative compensation Poor hiring practices for Project management Deals with archaic tech, with archaic clients, with archaic business related world-views. Executives will always be looking to buy new companies vs investing in their current technology and employees. This has to be done because the "mid-cap" banking industry is slowly declining; the benefactors are bitcoin and the largest global money center banks.

Avantages

I love working at Q2. My personal experience has been very positive. I've had the privilege of being on multiple teams in various departments during my time here and I have had excellent experiences with my managers, leadership, and coworkers.

Inconvénients

The return to office policy is very rigid. I would like to see them adopt a "commute time" policy rather than miles. 50 miles is not equal drive time in Austin vs somewhere like Nebraska. We've lost many excellent coworkers due to this policy. All that institutional knowledge, right out the door in favor of sticking to company policy.

Avantages

Pay (salary + bonus + equity) was ok

Inconvénients

HRBPs are sinking the ship. They are making business decisions, hiring/firing decisions for the business units. They sit on interview panels just to ask some behavioral questions that any of the other interviewers could ask. They inconsistently apply extreme policies (not even talking about the RTO). The company says they want to grow to be a billion dollar company. No company has ever done it with HR policies. I've been at companies a tenth of the size and trillion dollar companies. None have had the HR policies that Q2 has. The business model is also not sustainable. The number of financial institutions in the US has been shrinking for 20+ years. And once the local banks get scooped up by the JP Morgan Chases, they'll be using the Chase mobile app, not Q2's software.
