Avantages

Easy assembly position. Great hours.

Inconvénients

I was a temporary worker working for Philips for a couple of months. I was harassed every single day for being a corporative and discipline worker. The employees there are disrespectful to authority and policies. They would literally stand in groups gossip and verbally harass me for no reason. I did my job and stayed to myself. If you like to: Curse and curse in front of management. Take long breaks and lunch breaks. Talk on your cell phone while in the restrooms. Stay Idle for half a day. Come in late. Not interested in self-discipline. Then this is the perfect position for you. It don’t get no better than this.

Avantages

The people in non- upper management roles that work there are fantastic. Great sense of community onsite and the culture champions are consistently looking for ways to make work life better.

Inconvénients

Very poor communication on the strategy for the business unit. Leadership publicly promotes innovation and new ideas to be presented but then those ideas are shot down or penalized in private by current upper management. The business unit leadership says that don't want excuses for project delays but will then decide to do 3 major layoffs in the first two quarters with no transition plan, no support for gap in resources and no expectations to delayed progress.
