Avantages
Team members respect each other. Camaraderie is strong here. Managers listen to people and try their best to address concerns. There is a constant supply of new projects to work on, most of them are interesting and produce "career value." There is some flexibility within projects to put your best skills to work. Rank and file employees are engaged by executives to have a voice in company issues. There is a real opportunity for anyone at the company, regardless of job level, to shape the future of the company. Self-starters excel in this environment.
Inconvénients
Non-self starters will struggle here. Although people genuinely care, they will not coddle you for long. The company is very geared toward engineers. Non-engineers (and non-programmers) will struggle to find the same level of support that engineers have. Pay is adequate, but management is resistant to current market data showing pay needs to be higher to compete for the best people. It would be nice to have a few more healthy snack options in the break room.
